How does car consignment work?

Definition (legal): Consignment is the act of giving over to another person or agent’s charge, custody or care any material or goods but retaining legal ownership until the material or goods are sold. The EB collection will discuss all options in order to find the right strategy for the sale of your specific motorcar. That may be done for the purpose of shipping the goods, transferring the goods to auction or intending the goods to be placed on sale in a store (a consignment store). Ask for our conditions here.

How can I sell my classic car?

Either you can offer your car yourself using the specialized paid media channels, or you can ask a professional dealer or auction house to do it for you. When choosing for the 2^nd option, you will no longer have to arrange publicity, invite potential buyers at your home , neither will you have to deal with the paperwork and (international) handling after the sale. What type of cars are handled by the EB Collection?

The EB Collection is dealing with collector cars of great importance and historical significance. Our main interest and focus goes to European motorcars from the 1920-1959 era and we’re looking for extremely rare motorcars only. How long does it take to sell a classic car?

Finding the right buyer (at the right price) for your classic car is a time consuming process and thus can take weeks but mostly months .
