"I've always been passionate about historic motorcars. It's like a virus, can't get rid of it."
Dear classic car collector and -enthusiast,
Welcome to the EB collection. Born in 1980 in Antwerp-Belgium, I’ve always been passionate about historic motorcars. It’s like a virus, can’t get rid of it …
As a citizen of one of European smallest countries, It feels like a privilege being close to its rich and fascinating motorcar history. Prestigious manufacturers such as Minerva, Excelsior, Imperia and F.N. were only the beginning. Competition and Belgian racing history including the Circuit des Ardennes, les Grand Prix des Fontières, the severe Liège-Rome-Liège rally (also known as Marathon de la Route) and Spa-Francorchamps circuit (celebrating 100 years in 2021) brought our country international appeal and prestige. Not to forget the numerous succesful gentlemen drivers (Bianchi, Dubois, Frère, Gendebien, Ickx, Rouselle, Swaters , Thirion) and skilled coachbuilders such as D’Ieteren, Van Den Plas, Pritchard, Dens, Vesters and Snutsel (to name a few).
As I grew older, interest turned more and more into rare and exotic sport- and racecars, one-off and coachbuild cars from all European countries. Therefore I’m always looking for more information on the following brands.
I truly hope you’ll enjoy your visit and if you have an interesting topic to deal with, do not hesitate to contact us.
